Santorum, the number 3 Republican in the US Senate has seen his popularity fade in Pennsylvania. While close on favorability ratings, (Casey at 39% and Santorum at 35%), the unfavorable ratings are the telling piont. Casey's unfavorable rating among those polled was 19%, while Santorum's was a signficantly higher 40%.

Santorum's staff indicated that polls are unreliable. Indeed, 17% of those polled indicated that they still might change their mind come election day.
