Yesterday, emails were sent to VOID members, and postal mail dropped in the mail box, calling for nominations for another VOID director for its board.

Stephanie Christ indicated awhile back her desire to step down from the Board when convenient. Mrs. Christ has served as a valuable board member since early in 2006, when VOID was officially formed. Without her years of support and effort, VOID would not have grown to today's level. Mrs. Christ will remain an active member, but, must devote more time to school and family.

Nominations are, therefore, open from the date of this notice until midnight, Thursday, Sept. 3, 2009. Those members wishing to nominate themselves (encouraged) or, other VOID supporters or, members, may indicate the name and phone number of their nominee on the form provided them by email or postal mail. Emailed and U.S. Post mailed nominations must be postmarked by the nomination closing date, in bold above.

One nomination has already been received. All qualified nominees will be presented to the VOID membership in a separate ballot mailing to be issued on, or after, Sept. 10, 2009. A minimum of 11 calendar days will be allowed for ballots to be received and postmarked for return.
