For all the rhetoric and political power plays in Congress, there is
still no budget, no jobs bill, no recent economic stimulus, no new infrastructure
development and advancement, no law to end deficits and address the
national debt.
There are only 2 ways out of this, make Congress a one party government, or, vote both parties out until their replacements agree to honor the will and needs of the American people. The latter option, though difficult, is the more plausible of the two.

David, good to know you are still working to remove incumbents from office.
I just posted an article on WB that relates a fellow named Gary Gensler is now heading up the Commodities Futures Trading Commission. He acknowledges supporting Sen Phil Gramm in his effort to unregulate the banking/investment business which gave us ENRON and the mortgage crisis.
Now, he is going to weigh in on the Dodd-Frank amendment and the Volker Rule.
Man, you can't keep a good 'Corpocratist' down. But, I do believe that a 3rd party, with a different political attitude, such as represented by the Republic Sentry Party is the more efficient way to reform.
But, I still support the effort to VOID incumbents in large number. Surely, that would weaken the Corpocracy and better give us a fighting chance at reform.
Otherwise, we have the Corpocracy we deserve.

Roy, good to hear from you my friend. Yes, still fighting the good and necessary fight against partisan voting which provides America's future nothing in return.
Not sure another power driven party is the answer, because the first duty of any political party is to win elections. The second duty of any party is to win reelection. To fulfill that duty, the party will abandon all other principles in favor meeting duty #1 and #2. It is the nature of the political party beast.
Political parties are only as useful to the people as the people are willing to abandon the party for better governance. That is no longer happening. The nation is evenly divided along party lines and neither party has any fear of losing its base. Therefore, the elected representatives of Congress, no longer fearful of losing their base, are free to make whatever deals are required with whomever has the money and media power to get them reelected.
Still, third parties serve the independent voters with an alternative choice to voting for the establishment of corruption, deceit, and gridlock.
