The Virginia Public Access Project has a web site all Virginia voters should visit on a monthly basis. The VPAP organization has been instrumental in exposing campaign contributions and lobbyists involved in Virginian politics.
Their latest entries include:
- 51 2009-2010 lobbyist registrations.
- The Democratic Governors Association reports $750,000 to Common Sense Virginia, a PAC running anti-McDonnell TV ads.
- VPAP Elections Initiative. VPAP's Elections Initiative will present elections as interconnected events. This approach will empower the public to compare the results of one election to another and understand how turnout affects the outcome.
The Elections Initiative features a map interface that allows the public to visualize election results in a way not possible with rows and columns.
