Blue Media is desperately trying to elevate the YSR Congress!
The MPTC and ZPTC elections have ended in Andhra Pradesh. As expected, the YSR Congress won the majority of seats because the TDP decided to boycott the elections. The majority of seats won by the YSR Congress are unanimous seats and everyone knows how they come about.
On the other side, a few TDP leaders have contested challenging the party’s high command, but their hands are tied as the party leadership remains on the sidelines of the election campaign. It is a victory which gives no pride to the Party in power.
But then the Blue Media and YSR Congress social media are desperately trying to amplify it without telling people that this is a race that is only run by one person. Elections were held in April, but the results were delayed by the courts. In fact, the YSR Congress is fortunate that the elections have not taken place by now.
The results would be embarrassing for the party given that the government has created a mess in recent months. Without an opposition victory, the results would have been neck and neck. The Blue Media is trying to amplify the victory as if the elections were held with the opposition vying for people to forget about the anti-office.
