Hewitt rebuts allegations of electoral fraud by Ohio Senate candidate GOP
Conservative talk show host Hugh hewitt rebuffed allegations of electoral fraud by Ohio Senate candidate Josh Mandel (R) in an interview on Friday.
Mandel claimed the “The Hugh Hewitt Show” that former President Trump won the 2020 election and voter fraud caused President BidenJoe Biden Florida Man Started The United Robbery For Using Underwear As A Mask In Protest On The Money – Presented By Citi – Rebuild Better⦠Late Than Never? Mandel told Hewitt he believed there had been fraud in Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Georgia and that more audits and investigations need to be done on the matter.
Hewitt was quick to put pressure on Mandel over the claims.
“But Josh, leave me, leave me, now I’m going to push back, because you’re a friend, and you’ve been on this show for many, many years.” If you set a precedent of enough people complaining about elections, we’ll have an audit every time people complain about the lack of evidence between election and certification, âHewitt said.
âEvery election in every state for every position will be called into question, and no one will ever believe it, it’s a deeply delegitimizing and destabilizing proposition that you are putting forward. Do you know how destabilizing and delegitimizing it is? ” he added.
Mandel said he is not calling for an investigation everywhere, but rather in states where Biden won where he claims there has been “nefarious activity.”
Mandel particularly focused on allegations of voter fraud in Arizona, which performed an election audit and found no evidence of voter fraud.
The Associated Press earlier this week released a month-long analysis of the 2020 election results that found fewer than 475 cases of voter fraud in six battlefield states, including Arizona.
“The cases could not challenge the result even though all of the potentially fraudulent votes were for Biden, which was not the case, and even though those ballots were actually counted, which in most cases, they were not, “according to the news agency.
Biden received more than 7 million more votes than Trump in the 2020 election, but neither that, nor the fact that Trump and his allies lost numerous legal challenges to the results, prevented the former president from refusing to concede the race.
Hewitt compared Mandel’s claims to some Democrats in 2000 who said that the election of President George W. Bush was not legitimate.
âDid you think when the Democrats said Bush was selected, not elected, that it was legitimate? I did not do it. I thought it deeply disturbed American democracy, âhe said.
Mandel claimed it had not been the same since a full investigation was carried out into the 2000 election, saying he had heard too many stories to believe the 2020 election was not rigged .
âI don’t think he won. I think Trump won, âMandel said.
